EDP wraps up sale of majority in 563-MW US renewables portfolio

EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced on Monday it has closed the sale of an 80% equity stake in a 563-MW US wind-and-solar portfolio to Canadian investment firm Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, or CC&L Infrastructure.
The renewables arm of the Portuguese utility Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) has sold the shares for an enterprise value of USD 684 million (EUR 547m).
According to a filling from September, the US portfolio consists of five renewable energy parks in total. Specific information on the assets can be found in the table below.

The sale is part of EDPR’s asset rotation programme for 2019-2022, the Portuguese electric utility points out in the press release.
