EDP wraps up sale of majority in 563-MW US renewables portfolio

December 29 (Renewables Now) - EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced on Monday it has closed the sale of an 80% equity stake in a 563-MW US wind-and-solar portfolio to Canadian investment firm Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, or CC&L Infrastructure.

The renewables arm of the Portuguese utility Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) has sold the shares for an enterprise value of USD 684 million (EUR 547m).

According to a filling from September, the US portfolio consists of five renewable energy parks in total. Specific information on the assets can be found in the table below.
