February 7 (Renewables Now) - US solar company Dynamic Energy Solutions LLC has sold two ground-mounted solar-plus-storage projects totalling 11.2 MW DC/10.3 MWh that were developed under the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) programme.

The assets were acquired by Toronto-based renewables infrastructure manager Amp Energy and the transaction was closed in December 2019, the seller said.

Dynamic will design the projects and act as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. Construction and commercial operation are scheduled to take place in 2020.

Amp Energy said in a statement that the purchased assets had expanded its existing portfolio of SMART solar-plus-storage projects to 27 MW DC with 35 MWh.

Dynamic Energy has so far developed more than 50 MW DC of solar photovoltaic projects as part of the SMART programme, the company said.
