Denmark's Nordic Solar Energy buys 13-MW PV park in England

Danish investment firm Nordic Solar Energy A/S has acquired the 13.1-MW Folly Farm solar power plant near London, England, for some DKK 171 million (USD 25.7m/EUR 22.9m), it has unveiled.
With this purchase, the company has gained presence in a fifth EU country, while also adding an extra currency to its portfolio, managing director Nikolaj Hoff, as cited by the Copenhagen Post on Friday.
The fresh acquisition nearly doubles Nordic Solar Energy’s solar portfolio to 24.3 MW and raises the value of its assets under management to almost DKK 500 million.
The investor is also present in Germany, Spain, Italy and Belgium. Its Belgian facilities have a combined capacity of about 8.2 MW, according to information on the company's website.
