The announcement of Accelera’s launch coincides with news that the business will deliver proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers totalling 90 MW for Varennes Carbon Recycling’s plant in Quebec, Canada. This is Cummin’s largest electrolyser project to date, it said, adding that the in this particular case it will help turn non-recyclable waste into biofuels and circular chemicals.
At the same time, Accelera is partnering with Blue Bird to power a new fleet of 1,000 electric school buses across the US over the next 12 to 18 months.
