Van Oord sells stake in 19-MW Borssele V offshore wind farm to Octopus
Jun 29, 2022 12:38 CESTFebruary 20 (Renewables Now) - US media and technology company Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) on Thursday said a rooftop solar array consisting of 760 panels has been installed at its multi-purpose facility in Washington DC.
The rooftop installation will produce 385 MWh of power a year and save about 272 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually. The facility was installed by solar integrator Maicom LLC.
The latest initiative follows the construction of an electric vehicle (EV) charging station and the conversion to LED lightning at the facility, as part of the company's sustainability efforts not only in the region but also across the country.
