September 5 (Renewables Now) - Australia's ClearVue Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPV) said Tuesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with yStop, under which the two will work to incorporate ClearVue's solar glass solutions into yStop's street furniture and signs.
ClearVue technologies are intended to power fully or partially the lighting and digital solutions used in yStop's illuminated street signs and street furniture such as bus shelters, street bins or outdoor advertising panels.
Following a trial, the companies plan to sign a formal license agreement, under which yStop will become exclusive Western Australian distributor for ClearVue integrated street furniture and exclusive Australian distributor for ClearVue integrated illuminated street signs.
ClearVue executive chairman Victor Rosenberg said the MoU will allow the company to demonstrate the versatility of its products. "Modern bus shelters require power, lighting, illuminated advertising, electronic display advertising and information screens - the ClearVue solution is a great fit for this," Rosenberg commented.
ClearVue, which in May completed a AUD-5-million (USD 3.6m/EUR 3.1m) initial public offering (IPO), last week announced a non-binding MoU to partner with Murdoch University on the construction of the company's grant funded greenhouse.
