Cencorp agrees on EUR 20m deal to supply conductive back sheets

Nov 5, 2012 - Finnish company Cencorp (HEL:CNC1V) said Monday it had agreed on a deal, worth at least EUR-20-million (USD 26m) over the next three years, to supply a leading Chinese photovoltaic (PV) modules maker with conductive back sheets (CBS).

Deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Under the non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the companies, Cencorp has pledged to boost capacity at its Beijing-based plant to meet demand from its new customer.

The parties also agreed to jointly develop and market products in the field of solar modules production and related technologies.

The two companies are still hammering out the details of the final contract, and the talks are expected to be finalised in 2012.
