Canadian Solar's Ontario plant certified under OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001
Jul 18, 2013 - Solar module producer Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) said yesterday its factory in Ontario is now compliant with the OHSAS 18001:2007 health and safety management and ISO 14001:2004 environmental management system standards.
Canadian Solar Manufacturing Ontario Inc's processes were audited by German technical, safety and certification services provider TUeV Rheinland. The Ontario plant kicked off operations in January 2011, Canadian Solar said, adding that the factory is fully compliant with the ISO 9001 Quality Standard, ISO 14001 Environmental Standard and the OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety System requirements.
