ArcLight's Infinigen wins offtake deal for 32-MW solar park in Puerto Rico
Aug 09, 2022 15:46 CEST(SeeNews) - May 15, 2012 - Canadian solar power firm Eclipsall Energy Corp today said it had agreed to deliver 3 MW of solar panels to Uganda's Ministry of Health for use in solar power installations on 100 medical centres across Uganda.
The contract is one of Eclipsall's first major export deals. The export in developing countries is part of Eclipsall's business plan, its CEO Les Lyster said.
The solar power systems will include grid-connected and off-grid installations with battery energy storage solutions and related services to ensure their independent operations in medical centres located mainly in remote areas in the country.
Uganda, dependant on hydro and diesel-fired power plants, has been experiencing regular power supply failures, Eclipsall added.
