June 20 (Renewables Now) - US renewable energy solutions firm Cal Solar Inc announced that it has launched its engineering, construction and procurement (EPC) division to serve solar and energy development companies all over California.

The firm hopes to become one-stop EPC shop for solar developers and independent power producers thanks to its in-house team of ten engineers and over 100 installers and field personnel throughout California.

Cal Solar Inc provides solar, energy storage and electric vehicle charging services to commercial, multifamily and public works projects. It says it has completed over 600 projects in over 140 different building departments and interconnected systems in over 13 electric service utilities in California.

“Our EPC services division is a natural extension of our existing business as we self-perform everything from initial design and engineering to installation and service. With local crews covering every sub-area of California, we can deliver on multi-site portfolios in a way other installers simply cannot,” added CEO Sean Neman.
