October 7 (Renewables Now) - US Bridgelink Engineering LLC is strengthening its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) portfolio through the acquisition of BCR Companies, a domestic civil and mechanical engineering services provider for solar and wind projects.

Based in Denver, Colorado, family-owned BCR Companies has worked on the construction of solar and wind farms since 2012.

Fort Worth, Texas-based Bridgelink said it is on track to build an 8-GW portfolio of solar, wind and battery storage projects by the end of 2023. The company has more than 700 staff and 21 large utility-scale green energy projects across the US with a current power generation capacity of 3.5 GW.

The acquisition is seen to build on Bridgelink's purchase of transmission and distribution business Intermountain Electric, which was completed at the start of 2021.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
