Jun 10, 2014 - Brazilian wind power developer Eolica Tecnologia secured off-take contracts for 82 MW in two wind power projects at Brazil's energy auction last week, local energy news site Canal Energia reported yesterday.
The two projects, Ouro Branco and Quatro Ventos, have become feasible thanks to synergy with existing wind parks in Pernambuco state, according to the company.
Eolica Tecnologia has installed 194.8 MW in Rio Grande do Norte, Bahia and Pernambuco states through the government's incentive programme Proinfa and energy auctions.
At the auction in December 2013, Eolica Tecnologia, in association with federal utility Furnas, sold 274 MW in Rio Grande do Norte and Ceara.
