(SeeNews) - Nov 19, 2013 - Brazilian power sector watchdog Aneel yesterday allowed the test operation of all 20 turbines at the 30-MW EOL Buriti wind power plant.<br /> The facility is located in Acarau municipality, in the northeastern Ceara state. It is owned by local firm Nova Eolica Buriti SA, which is cleared to operate the plant as an independent power producer (IPP).<br /> Aneel will decide whether to permit the turbines' commercial operation only after the completion of the test phase.
