(SeeNews) - Nov 14, 2013 - Brazilian electricity sector regulator Aneel yesterday cleared the commercial operation of generation unit 1, of 17 MW, at the biomass thermoelectric power plant (TPP) Passa Tempo.<br /> The sugar cane bagasse-fuelled facility has a total capacity of 73.8 MW and is located in Rio Brilhante municipality, in the central-western Mato Gross state.<br /> Passa Tempo is owned by Biosev (SAO:BSEV3), the Brazilian sugar and ethanol arm of French firm Louis Dreyfus.
