Brazil's Aneel allows installed capacity change of 3 wind plants
Aug 19, 2013 - Brazilian electricity sector regulator Aneel allowed the change of the installed capacity of the wind power plants Ribeirao, Boca do Corrego and Ilha Grande, all located in Amontada municipality, northeastern Ceara state.
Aneel cleared Ribeirao's capacity to be raised to 21.6 MW from 20 MW, to be generated by 10 turbines instead of previous eight.
Boca do Corrego's capacity will be raised to 24.3 MW. The facility will have nine turbines.
On the other hand, Aneel allowed Ilha Grande's installed capacity to be reduced to 29.7 MW from previous 30 MW and to have 11 turbines against initially planned 15 units.
