Brazil's power sector regulator Aneel has authorised five wind energy plants with a combined capacity of 106.81 MW to start commercial or test operations.
Located in the state of Pernambuco, the Ventos de Sao Clemente 5, 7 and 8 wind farms will go online under test operations while the Damascena and Ventos de Horizonte parks in Bahia and Ceara state received the commercial go-ahead.
