Brazil energy min includes two wind farms in REIDI

Nov 1, 2012 - Brazil's Ministry of Mines and Energy has included the EOL Goiabeira and EOL Asa Branca I wind farms, with installed capacity of 19.2 MW and 30 MW, respectively, in the government's incentive regime for infrastructure development REIDI, local power news provider Canal Energia said yesterday.
EOL Goiabeira is located in the Aracati municipality of northeastern Ceara state, while EOL Asa Branca I -- in the Parazinho municipality of neighbouring Rio Grande do Norte state.
REIDI, launched in 2007, grants tax incentives to companies investing in infrastructure projects in the transportation, ports, energy, sanitation and irrigation sectors.
