(SeeNews) - Oct 31, 2013 - Brazil's energy ministry declared the 30-MW EOL Santa Clara I wind power farm and its adjacent transmission system a priority project, according to a publication in the State Gazette from yesterday.<br /> The project, located in Parazinho municipality, northeastern Rio Grande do Norte state, comprises 15 turbines. It is owned by local renewable energy developer Santa Clara I Energias Renovaveis.<br /> Following the ministerial decision, the project is now authorised to raise funds through the issue of infrastructure debentures which feature some tax incentives. Under local regulation, wind, biomass, solar and nuclear power projects, besides industrial equipment, may be considered priority undertakings if identified as essential for the country's economic development.
