(SeeNews) - Dec 12, 2013 - Brazilian electricity sector watchdog Aneel yesterday cleared the test operation of four turbines, with a combined capacity of 8.4 MW, at the Icarai I wind power plant.<br /> According to a decree published in the State Gazette on Tuesday, the turbines' commercial start-up will be approved only after the completion of the test phase.<br /> The plant, to have an overall installed capacity of 27.3 MW, is owned by local power firm Central Geradora Eolica Icarai I SA. It is located in Amontada municipality, northeastern Ceara state.
