(SeeNews) - Nov 19, 2013 - Brazilian electricity sector regulator Aneel cleared the commercial operation of the eighth turbine, of 3 MW, at the 30-MW EOL Atlantica V wind power plant.<br /> The facility will have a total 10 turbines. The plant and its adjacent transmission system are declared a priority project by the energy and mines ministry, which means that the project is authorised to raise funds through the issue of infrastructure debentures which feature some tax incentives.<br /> The park and the plants Atlantica I, II and IV form a 120-MW wind complex in Palmares do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul state. The complex was acquired by Brazilian CPFL Renovaveis in 2012.
