A new business unit of Boviet Solar USA has developed, financed and delivered 30 MW of solar power installations in Georgia, it announced today.
The particular projects are the first such utility-grade installations implemented by Boviet Renewable Power in North America, the company said in a press release. Boviet Renewable Power owns and operates the plants.
The electricity generated by the solar parks is being sold to local utility Georgia Power Company, which serves about 2.4 million customers across the state.
Silicon Valley-based Boviet Solar USA is the North American arm of Vietnamese solar panels manufacturer Boviet Solar Technology Co Ltd. The purpose of the company’s new US subsidiary is to deliver solar plants to help utilities and commercial and industrial (C&I) customers to meet their renewable sustainability and energy goals, it explained.
