Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd (LON:BSIF) on Monday said its net asset value (NAV) per share was GBP 1.0479 (USD 1.61/EUR 1.46) at the end of September, up from GBP 1.0358 at the end of June.
Excluding the fourth interim dividend for the year ending June 30, 2015 and the variable fee awarded to the fund's investment adviser, NAV per share at the end of the first quarter of the new fiscal year was GBP 1.0322.
The UK solar fund also declared a first interim dividend for the 2015/16 year of GBP 0.0325 per share, the same as in the previous year.
At the end of the period, the company's portfolio totalled 263.9 MWp of installed capacity, consisting of 20 standalone projects and 40 industrial projects, mainly on properties of utility Thames Water.
It said its investment adviser, Bluefield Partners LLP, was working on a broad pipeline of both operational and greenfield investment opportunities and had signed exclusivity agreements about a significant amount of capacity.
"We continue to be excited about the potential of the UK solar market, despite the recent regulatory changes, and are exploring a range of attractive prospects which give us plenty of opportunity," said chairman John Rennocks.
