Bergamo Acquisition, Indian Pilot Technologies to partner on solar projects
(ADPnews) - Oct 26, 2010 - US Bergamo Acquisition Corp (PINK:BGMO) said on Monday its Indian solar thermal power unit has signed an INR-1.95-billion (USD 44m/EUR 31m) agreement to jointly develop solar projects with Indian Pilot Technologies Ltd.
Bergamo Harbinsons Energy Ltd yesterday received INR 200 million initial funding under the agreement, its parent company said.
Pilot Technologies manufactures technology for batteries used in solar thermal plants and develops solar and solar thermal power projects in India.
The main contract between the partners is for the sale of a 10 MW solar thermal power plant in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Bergamo said.
