Sep 26, 2013 - Thai state-run Bangchak Petroleum Public Co Ltd (BAK:BCP) has selected two consortia for the design and construction of the 48-MW third phase of a 118-MW solar project, The Nation said today.
The newspaper cited Bangchak Petroleum’s president Vichien Usanachote as saying that it had approved the appointment of Solartron-China Triumph International Engineering and Gunkul Engineering-Trina Solar Energy Development for the job. They were selected among five bidders. Total of 11 groups were invited to take part in the competitive process.
