November 12 (Renewables Now) - Indian solar power producer Azure Power Global Ltd (NYSE:AZRE) on Thursday said it has secured a 150-MW wind-and-solar power project with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

Azure Power has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from SECI about the project, which was part of the government agency's tender for 1,200 MW of hybrid projects.

The project will supply power at a tariff of INR 2.35 (USD 0.032/EUR 0.028) per kWh under a power purchase agreement (PPA) for a period of 25 years, which is due to be signed.

The project, which will include up to 100 MW of solar capacity and 50 MW of wind capacity, will be constructed within 18 months following the PPA signing. It will be connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).

The High Court of Delhi has to approve the LoA.
