(SeeNews) - May 29, 2013 - US thin-film solar modules firm Ascent Solar Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:ASTI) said today it would roll out its EnerPlex consumer products in China via local mobile phones retailer DiXinTong Inc, operating as D Phone.
The Chinese firm has signed a distribution agreement with Ascent Solar’s strategic partner Shenzhen Radiant Enterprise Co Ltd. D Phone operates more than 1,300 stores throughout 25 provinces and municipalities in China.
The EnerPlex offerings include the Kickr portable solar chargers, Surfr solar and battery phone cases and Jumpr battery packs. The product line will now be available at D Phone outlets in four of the country’s largest regions.
In April, Ascent Solar said it had signed similar deals with distributors in Scandinavia and the UK.
