Ascent Solar plans share issue to fund Colorado production facility
(ADPnews) - Nov 12, 2010 - US thin-film solar modules maker Ascent Solar Technologies (NASDAQ:ASTI) said late on Wednesday it plans to launch an underwritten public offering of common shares to raise funds to complete its 30-MW module production facility in Colorado.
The Fab 2 unit makes monolithically integrated flexible copper indium gallium (di)selenide (CIGS) modules.
Cowen and Co LLC has been appointed lead underwriter of the offering. No further details were disclosed.
