Argentine Enarsa seeks financing for 20 MW wind project - report

Oct 26, 2012 - Argentine state-owned energy company Energia Argentina (Enarsa) is looking for financing for a 20 MW wind power project in Plaza Huincul municipality while advancing with wind studies in the area, Argentine daily Rio Negro reported yesterday.
Based on the studies, Enarsa estimates it could develop a 60 MW wind farm. Currently, the company prepares for the first phase of 20 MW, estimated at USD 40 million (EUR 30.9m), which was presented in Italy, Enarsa's manager for renewable energy, Hector Nordio, said.
Once the financing is available, it will take a year to build the facility, according to Nordio.
