Argentine Chaco province to sign oil, gas exploration accord with Enarsa soon - report
(ADPnews) - Nov 9, 2010 - Argentina's northeastern Chaco province is expected to sign a hydrocarbon exploration agreement with state energy firm Energia Argentina (Enarsa) in the next days, Argentine news agency Derf reported.
Enarsa will explore an area in southwestern Chaco together with the provincial state-owned energy firm SECHEEP.
The agreement will also include the construction of a biodiesel plant in the Barranqueras municipality and the installation of a network of filling stations in order to guarantee the diesel supply to local agricultural producers.
The project, whose value was not specified by the source, will be financed by Argentina's Federal Planning Ministry.
