AMPYR takes possession of 750-MW solar pipeline via Dutch purchase

Pan-European solar developer and independent power producer AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) has acquired the solar business of Dutch firm SolarEnergyWorks, including a project pipeline of 750 MWp.
Through this transaction, AMPYR adds a new office and 15 employees to its team in the Netherlands, which now amounts to 22. The pipeline itn question includes 100 MWp of shovel-ready projects and 650 MWp of under-development schemes. It expands AMPYR’s own pipeline in the Netherlands to more than 1 GWp.
“The acquisition of SEW complements our existing Dutch business very well and will help accelerate our long-term plans in terms of portfolio growth, talent addition, local presence and the renewable energy transition in general,” commented Alexander Koeman, Managing Director of AMPYR Solar Europe Netherlands.
Overall, AMPYR Solar Europe now has 60 employees across its operations in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany, and a total development pipeline of 6 GWp.
