French renewable power supplier Akuo Energy has tied up with peer Plum energie to jointly sell green electricity to a group of domestic organisations and businesses.
The duo announced on Wednesday it has signed eight contracts for the supply of electricity. They did not specify the names of the power plants from which power will be sourced.

Non-government humanitarian relief organisation ACTED, the FUTURAe school for creative industries and alternative fruit and vegetable distribution network C’Juste will receive power supplies under the new partnership. The list also includes insurance brokerage Filhet-Allard & Cie, entertainment production company CineFrance, hydrogen refuelling stations maker Atawey, organic farm and permaculture school La Ferme du Bec Hellouin and organic tea brand Kusmi Tea.
All of these organisations have environmental goals that will be backed through the power purchase contracts.
Akuo Energy currently has 1.3 GW of renewables capacity in operation or under construction, with over 5 GW of projects being under development. Plum energie offers 100% green energy to its clients.
