October 26 (SeeNews) - Acciona Windpower, the Brazilian subsidiary of Spain's Acciona SA (BME:ANA), plans to build a BRL-24-million (USD 7.6m/EUR 7m) wind tower factory in Bahia state.<br /> <br /> The new facility will be constructed in the city of Mulungu do Morro and will have the annual capacity to manufacture between 60 and 120 wind towers per year, the local government said in a statement on Tuesday.<br /> <br /> Acciona expects the factory, which would be its third in the state, to generate annual revenues of about BRL 207 million. The facility should be up and running in the second half of 2017, according to the announcement.
