Spanish renewables company Acciona Energia (BME:ANE) has issued a EUR-500-million (USD 567.3m) ten-year green bond, its second issuance after becoming independent from the parent group Acciona SA (BME:ANA) last July.
The latest transaction was finalised on Thursday at a spread of 98 basis points over mid-swap, with a 1.387% yield for investors, Acciona Energia said.
“With the success of this second bond placement, Acciona Energia is making progress on one of the main goals of its IPO: to ensure an optimal cost of financing in order to maximize the value generated by its growth plan,” the company said.
The renewables pure-player plans to invest EUR 7.8 billion to grow its installed capacity to 20 GW by 2025 from 10.7 GW it had in 2020, it added.
