Rooftop solar-focused developer Asia Clean Capital Ltd (ACC) continues to announce new partnerships for the development of solar pipelines in China, this time with Toshiba Mitsubishi Electric Industrial Systems Corp (TMEIC).
The two companies have agreed to co-develop 200 MW of identified projects in Mainland China, ACC said on Monday. They have started the cooperation on a series of developments, including on a 20-MW shipyard solar station in East China.
TMEIC specialises in the provision of inverters. Its role in the partnership will be to offer technical support and supply equipment for the rooftop projects. ACC, on the other hand, will provide construction and financing for the systems.
“Cooperation between ACC and TMEIC will allow both companies to further accelerate their development of the red-hot Chinese solar market," said ACC’s chief executive Thomas Lapham.
Last week, ACC unveiled a partnership with US photovoltaic (PV) panels maker Ten K Solar to develop roughly 40 MW of projects in Mainland China and earlier this year said it had inked similar deals with Trina Solar (NYSE:TSL) and Canadian Solar (NASDAQ:CSIQ).
