Mexican court suspends govt's new policy on CELs - report
Dec 11, 2019 16:50 CESTApril 23 (Renewables Now) - Aboitiz Power Corp (PSE:AP) seeks to buy solar and wind projects in Vietnam with individual capacities of between 50 MW and 100 MW, according to a top official.
Erramon Aboitiz, president and CEO of AboitizPower, told reporters, as quoted by local media, that the company is looking at several projects and does not have a specific total capacity target. The plan is to take advantage of the country’s feed-in tariff (FiT) scheme that supports such projects.
AboitizPower’s head noted that any project it buys in Vietnam should be developed to a certain extent already.
Other countries that are of interest to AboitizPower when it comes to expansion include Myanmar and Indonesia. Its current focus, though, is on Vietnam, the CEO said.
