Gasunie to develop Dutch hydrogen transport network
Jun 30, 2022 14:30 CESTMarch 31 (Renewables Now) - German renewables developer ABO Wind AG (ETR:AB9) has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement for its 86.8-MW Pajuperankangas wind farm in Finland with Norwegian energy generator Statkraft AS, the companies said on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Statkraft will also receive the rights to the Guarantees of Origins of the electricity generated by the project.
The wind farm will be made up of 14 Vestas V162 turbines, which are expected to begin feeding power into the grid in the autumn of 2023. Preparatory construction activities have started, with construction of the foundations to commence in the third quarter of 2022.
ABO Wind noted this is the largest project so far where it is doing all the work from planning to turnkey construction on its own. Pajuperankangas is the fourth wind farm the company is building in Haapajarvi.
