Abengoa wins interconnection job for Argentine wind park

March 18 (Renewables Now) - Spanish group Abengoa SA (BME:ABG) has been hired by engineering company Ingener Arg SA to carry out the interconnection works for a wind farm in Argentina.  

The plant is being built by Ingener in Neuquen province, in the western part of the country, the European renewable energy and engineering company announced today.

Abengoa will be in charge of the procurement of all the resources, materials and equipment needed for the 132-kV power line. It will also be responsible for the sectioning of an existing 132-kV line and the deployment of optical fibre by an ADSS cable (All Dielectric Self Supported), it detailed in its press release.

The Spanish company did not give details about the wind farm.
