European partners target 160,000t/y SAF plant in France

Engineering group Technip Energies (EPA:TE), aircraft maker Airbus SE (EPA:AIR), aerospace components manufacturer Safran SA (EPA:SAF) and agricultural cooperative Tereos have agreed to form a joint venture to develop a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant with an annual production capacity of about 160,000 tonnes at the Port of Dunkirk in northern France.

Iberdrola wins contract to supply 100% renewable power to city of Toledo

Spanish utility Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) said on Sunday it had secured a one-year contract to supply 100% renewable electricity to the city of Toledo, covering 328 municipal supply points and annual electricity demand of 11 GWh.
