Xinjiang Goldwind strikes PPA for 120 MW wind project in Illinois

(ADPnews) - Dec 20, 2010 - Chinese Xinjiang Goldwind Science and Technology (SHE:002202, HKG:2208) on Monday announced that it struck a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with US power utility Commonwealth Edison Co for the output of its 120 MW Shady Oaks wind farm in Illinois.

The project, developed by Goldwind's US arm TianRun Shady Oaks LLC, is to begin operations in 2012.
