Wpd sets 927-MW Gennaker offshore wind project in motion
Jul 04, 2022 16:47 CESTDecember 18 (Renewables Now) - Westwood Professional Services Inc on Thursday said it has acquired the wind power services operations of EAPC Architects Engineers.
The business has been responsible for providing assessment and consulting services on wind projects with a combined capacity of over 30,000 MW across North and South America, as well as Europe.
The team brings to Westwood expertise in wind resource assessment, met tower installation and service, sodar sensing equipment deployment, turbine, noise and shadow flicker studies, microwave beam path studies, and general project development due diligence.
With the acquisition, which closed on December 1, Westwood also becomes the sales and services provider for the US and Canada of wind farm design and planning software windPRO, developed by EMD International.
