Canadian fund manager Axium Infrastructure Inc said that it has closed the acquisition of a 50% stake in a 101-MW DC solar portfolio in Ontario from Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation (TYO:8058).
-- KKR to buy into 1.2-GW renewables portfolio by NextEra
NextEra Energy Partners LP (NYSE:NEP) announced it will buy interests in a 611-MW portfolio of contracted US wind and solar projects for a total of USD 1.02 billion and then create a new, larger platform with participation from KKR (NYSE:KKR).

Japanese conglomerate SoftBank Group Corp (TYO:9984) announced it will invest USD 10 million in Swedish solar cells maker Exeger Operations AB as part of a new partnership.

Canadian renewable power producer BluEarth Renewables LP has acquired a 22.9-MW portfolio of under-construction solar projects in the US, planned to be switched on this year.

Canada's Alberta Investment Management Corp (AIMCo) said it has closed the acquisition of an over 90% stake in Spanish renewable power producer Eolia Renovables de Inversiones SCR SA.

Norsk Vind Energi AS announced that it has sold a 95-MW pre-construction wind project in Norway to Zurich utility EWZ.

Good Energy Group Plc (LSE:GOOD) has announced a strategic investment and the acquisition of a majority stake in Next Green Car Ltd (NGCL), the developer of charging station locator app Zap-Map.

National Grid (LON:NG), the UK electricity and gas utility, said it has agreed to acquire US wind and solar developer Geronimo Energy in a USD-100-million deal.
