-- Ørsted finalises sale of Radius, other ops in Denmark

Danish offshore wind major Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) announced it has wrapped up the sale of its power distribution, residential customer and City Light businesses to SEAS-NVE.

-- Odfjell eyes controlling stake in floating wind co Oceanwind

Norwegian offshore drilling contractor Odfjell Drilling has made an investment in Oceanwind AS with the goal of securing a controlling position in the floating wind power company.

-- Sonnedix buys 2.3-MW solar park in Japan

Independent power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said that its Japanese unit has finalised the acquisition of a 2.3-MW photovoltaic (PV) park located in the Mie prefecture.

-- Siemens merges wind energy generation unit into Flender

Flender GmbH, a German mechanical drive systems maker fully owned by Siemens AG (ETR:SIE), has absorbed the wind energy generation (WG) unit of its parent in preparation for its planned listing next year.

-- EWZ takes over newly completed wind park of 30 MW in Norway

The city of Zurich’s energy utility EWZ has formally taken the ownership of the 30-MW Stigafjellet wind farm in Norway after project developer Eolus Vind AB (STO:EOLU-B) finished its construction.

-- Eolus hands over 130-MW Swedish wind farm to KGAL

Wind project developer Eolus Vind AB (STO:EOLU-B) said it has completed the construction of the 130-MW Backhammar wind farm in Sweden and handed the asset over to KGAL.

-- Poland's Columbus Energy targets 184-MWp solar portfolio

Polish photovoltaics (PV) installer Columbus Energy SA has made a binding offer to acquire the special purpose vehicles holding 184 MWp of solar projects at various stages of development.

-- SSE to sell stake in Walney offshore wind farm to Greencoat UKW

UK utility SSE Plc (LON:SSE) said it has agreed to sell its 25.1% non-operating stake in the 367-MW Walney offshore wind farm to renewable infrastructure fund Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW).

-- Cloudberry keen to buy back Swedish shallow-water wind project

Nordic renewable energy company Cloudberry Clean Energy wants to acquire the company that owns the up to 17-turbine Rewind Vanern lake wind project in Sweden.

-- Romania's Electrica acquires 7.5 MW solar plant in Giurgiu county

Romanian power supplier and distributor Electrica [BSE:EL] has closed the acquisition of the 7.5 MW Stanesti photovoltaic plant in Giurgiu county through its subsidiary Electrica Furnizare, it said.

-- Arenko sells dev rights for 50-MW storage projects to Gresham

UK battery software company Arenko Group has sold development rights for two 50-MW energy storage projects to Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID).

-- Nationwide, Sol Systems JV snaps up 47-MW solar bundle in Texas

A joint venture (JV) between Sol Systems and insurance and financial services company Nationwide has closed the acquisition of a 47-MW portfolio of solar parks in Texas.

-- Korean group buying into 852 MW of US wind farms

A group of South Korean infrastructure investors has agreed to buy a 49.9% stake in an 852-MW portfolio of US wind farms in a deal with an implied aggregate enterprise value of USD 1.5 billion.

-- GIP buys RattanIndia's entire solar portfolio of 306 MW

RattanIndia Group announced it has disposed of its entire solar power portfolio totalling 306 MW, thus ending up with two thermal power plants.

-- EDP sells majority stake in 563 MW wind, solar portfolio in US

Canadian investment firm Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure (CC&L Infrastructure) has agreed to buy an 80% equity stake in a 563-MW US wind and solar portfolio from EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR).
