-- Actis buys 400 MW of Indian solar projects from Acme

UK investor Actis has acquired a 400-MW portion of Acme Solar Holdings Pvt Ltd’s portfolio of Indian solar power projects.

-- Italy's Acea buys 20-MW project in Basilicata

Italian multi-utility company ACEA SpA (BIT:ACE) recently announced it has completed the acquisition of Fergas Solar Srl, a company holding a permit to build a 20-MW solar farm in Basilicata.

-- Peck to buy solar installer Sunworks

US commercial solar contractor The Peck Company Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PECK) has agreed to acquire solar installer Sunworks Inc (NASDAQ:SUNW) in an all-stock deal.

-- EDP to sell 242 MW of Spanish wind farms to Portugal's Finerge

Portuguese renewable power company Finerge Group has agreed to buy seven wind farms, with a combined capacity of 242 MW, from EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR), the latter announced.

-- CEZ in talks with best bidder for assets in Romania

Czech energy group CEZ said that it is holding negotiations with the potential buyer who has submitted the best bid in the process for the sale of the group's assets in Romania.

-- Gridserve buys from Anesco 10-MW solar farm with storage in UK

Power infrastructure company Gridserve has acquired from UK solar developer Anesco Ltd a 10-MW subsidy-free solar farm co-located with a 6-MW energy storage facility in England.

-- New Energy Solar says sale of California solar farm stake delayed

New Energy Solar Ltd (ASX:NEW) said the planned sale of a 50% stake in its 200-MW Mount Signal 2 solar farm in California will be delayed because of performance issues at the site.

-- Renewables retailer ZEN Energy splits from SIMEC Group

South Australian renewable energy retailer ZEN Energy has split from entrepreneur Sanjeev Gupta’s SIMEC group of companies.

-- Apex Clean Energy sells 500-MW wind project in Texas

Apex Clean Energy has sold the 500-MW White Mesa wind project in Texas and its associated corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs) to an unnamed buyer.

-- Canada's Jade Power Trust sells Suha hydro project in Romania

Canadian renewable energy company Jade Power Trust said that it has completed the sale of its Suha hydro project in Romania.

-- RWE seeks to sell minority in Humber Gateway offshore wind farm - report

German energy group RWE AG (ETR:RWE) is looking to sell a minority interest in the 219-MW Humber Gateway offshore wind farm in British waters, two informed people told Reuters.

-- Ilmatar buys rights to 50-MW wind project in Finland

Ilmatar Windpower Oyj said today it has acquired the rights to the 50-MW, shovel-ready Rasakangas wind project in Kurikka, Finland, from developer Megatuuli Oy.

-- Masdar buying 50% of 1.6-GW EDF Renewables portfolio

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC, better known as Masdar, will buy 50% stakes in 1.6 GW of clean energy assets that EDF Renewables North America owns in several US states.

-- Apollo Global to invest USD 265m in Maryland offshore wind developer

Apollo Global Management Inc (NYSE:APO) has acquired an equity stake in US Wind Inc, the developer of a 270-MW wind project off the coast of Maryland.

-- UK's Sunamp raises funds to expand heat batteries business

UK thermal storage developer Sunamp Ltd said it has raised GBP 4.5 million in a Series A financing round.
