-- Clime Capital backs 500-MWp Vietnamese floating PV project with storage

Clime Capital Management Pte Ltd, through the South East Asia Clean Energy Facility (SEACEF), has invested in the development of a 500-MWp floating solar project in Vietnam that will be coupled with an up to 200-MWh battery storage system.

-- Ørsted, Enefit to form Baltic offshore wind JV

Danish energy company Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) will team up with a unit of Estonian state-owned sector player Eesti Energia AS, aiming to jointly develop offshore wind projects in the Baltic countries.

-- Tri Global sells 580 MW of US solar, wind schemes to Leeward

US renewables developer Tri Global Energy said it has agreed to sell one solar and one wind project in Indiana totalling 580 MW to Leeward Renewable Energy.

-- Clearway Energy acquires 264-MW wind farm in West Virginia

Clearway Energy Inc (NYSE:CWEN) said it has finalised the acquisition of a 264-MW wind farm in West Virginia from commodity trading group Castleton Commodities International.

-- Vitol acquires 10% stake in green hydrogen producer Gen2 Energy

Dutch energy and commodities trader Vitol has bought a 10% stake in Norwegian green hydrogen producer Gen2 Energy for an undisclosed sum.

-- Sunseap obtains funds to expand solar ops in Japan

Singapore-based solar developer and operator Sunseap Group Pte Ltd has secured investments of an undisclosed amount from its latest Series E funding round, which it plans to spend on projects in Japan.

-- Octopus Renewables buys 2 UK biomass plants totalling 85.7 MW

Octopus Renewables has acquired two operational biomass power plants in the UK, adding 85.7 MW of capacity to the portfolio of five biomass plants that it now manages in the country.

-- OX2 unloads 86-MW Swedish wind project to Lundin Energy

Swedish renewables developer OX2 announced it has sold an 86-MW wind farm in its home market to domestic oil-and-gas company Lundin Energy AB (STO:LUNE).

-- Total buys 23% in 640-MW Taiwan offshore wind project

Total SA (EPA:FP) has agreed to acquire a 23% stake in the 640-MW Yunlin offshore wind farm that is currently under construction in Taiwan from German developer Wpd AG.

-- PosiGen reaches USD-27m second close of funding round

US residential solar developer PosiGen LLC has achieved a USD-27-million second close of its Series D growth equity financing, it announced.

-- Cubico, Peel NRE to jointly develop 500 MW of UK renewables

Cubico Sustainable Investments has established a joint venture with natural resources and energy business Peel NRE to develop more than 500 MW of onshore renewables across the UK over the next five to 10 years.
