Indian renewables developer and operator ReNew Power Ventures Pvt Ltd has acquired domestic sector player Ostro Energy Pvt Ltd in a deal it says is its largest one in India, expanding its green energy portfolio to over 5,600 MW.

-- Greencoat Renewables buys 11.5-MW wind farm in Ireland

Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) said it has acquired the 11.5-MW Tullynamoyle 2 wind farm in County Leitrim, Ireland.

-- GFG shares GBP-60m Scottish hydro plan whilst closing acquisition

The energy arm of Industrialist Sanjeev Gupta’s GFG Alliance has closed its previously announced acquisition of UK-based HPPs owner Green Highland Renewables (GHR) from Ancala Partners LLP.

Xcel Energy (NYSE:XEL) has taken possession of a 150-MW wind project in North Dakota and intends to start building the plant this summer, the utility said.

-- TNB secures debt to refinance UK wind portfolio acquisition

Malaysian utility Tenaga Nasional Bhd (KLSE:TENAGA), or TNB, has struck a deal to obtain GBP 120 million in debt to refinance the acquisition of an 80% interest in two renewable energy firms, owners of a 26.1-MW wind portfolio in the UK.

New York-based Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC has bought the rights to a 25.2-MW solar portfolio in the state of Colorado from Oak Leaf Energy Partners.

Canadian energy infrastructure company Enbridge Inc (TSE:ENB) wants to shed half of its stake in the 497-MW Hohe See offshore wind project off the coast of Germany as it seeks to cut debt, Bloomberg reports.

-- Dalkia buys out Engie's stake in TIRU

Energy service provider Dalkia, a subsidiary of French power utility EDF (EPA:EDF), has completed the acquisition of the 25% stake of Engie (EPA:ENGI) in waste-to-energy company TIRU.

-- ERG to buy French wind firm with 750-MW pipeline

Italian energy company ERG SpA (BIT:ERG) has agreed to acquire a couple of operating wind farms and a roughly 750-MW pipeline in France from a Dutch firm owned by Impax New Energy Investors II.
