Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has received an order to supply 149 MW of turbines for an undisclosed wind project in the US, the manufacturer said today.
Under the contract, Vestas will deliver 12 units of its V110-2.0 MW machines and 57 units of the V120-2.2 MW model turbines. The commissioning of the equipment, as well as a multi-year service agreement, are also part of the deal from the unnamed customer.
Vestas expects to start delivering the turbines in the second quarter of 2020, while their commissioning is planned for the last quarter of the same year.
Last week, Vestas announced another order from an unnamed client in the US that will see it supply and commission 183 MW of its V120-2.2 MW turbines. The commissioning of those machines will take place in the closing quarter of next year, as well.
