Vestas gets renewal of 533-MW service contracts in Canada
Oct 15, 2012 - Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said Monday it had secured renewal of service contracts for eight Canadian wind farms with a combined capacity of 533 MW.
All wind power projects, run by International Power Canada, part of UK International Power Inc (LON:IPR), are located in New Brunswick, Ontario and Prince Edward Island. They feature a total of 276 wind turbines.
The new deal runs for 10 years. Vestas will continue to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and replacement of major components and spare parts. The renewal also covers linking to VestasOnline surveillance system.
