Vestas, Caterpillar sign components remanufacturing deal

Nov 7, 2011 - Danish wind-turbine producer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said today it had signed a 10-year global contract with US industrial products maker Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) for the remanufacturing of turbine components.

The financial details were not mentioned.

The US company's unit Cat Reman will remanufacture minor components and repair sub-components for Vestas.
