Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has booked an order to supply 46 MW of wind turbines for unspecified projects in the US.
The deal concerns the delivery of turbine components of Vestas’ 4-MW platform that qualify for the 60% production tax credit (PTC) value, the Danish manufacturer said in a press release last week. Information about the specific projects, their location and capacity, as well as the name of the customer have not been disclosed.
The wind turbines will be used for future projects targeted to be completed by the end of 2024.
