Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said on Tuesday it has signed a 14-year service renewal agreement that covers its Polish wind parks totalling 146 MW.
This full scope lifetime agreement, the first of its kind in the Polish market, extends the existing deal from six to 20 years, the company said in a statement, without disclosing the names of the projects and the customer. The financial terms of the contract were not mentioned either.
In May, the company said it won an 83-MW wind turbine supply contract in Poland that was then its third announced order in the country for 2015. It came with a 15-year service agreement.
Vestas noted that it offers maintenance services to over 15% of the worldwide wind turbine fleet.
